Lensa
A mobile photo and video editor known for AI avatars, portrait retouching and creative effects.
What is Lensa?
Lensa is a mobile app from Prisma Labs for editing photos and videos with AI. It became widely known for its AI avatar packs, and it also offers one-tap portrait retouching, background tools and creative filters.
Lensa runs on iOS and Android and is built for quick edits on a phone. Its portrait tools can smooth skin, fix lighting and adjust backgrounds without manual masking.
The AI avatars feature lets you upload a set of selfies and receive stylized portraits in many artistic styles. This is what made the app popular on social media.
Beyond avatars, Lensa includes general editing tools such as filters, crops, background blur and replacement, and some video editing features.
For Instagram creators, Lensa is mainly useful for profile pictures, quick portrait cleanups and playful avatar content rather than full content production.
