Midjourney
An AI image generator known for artistic, high-quality images from text prompts.
What is Midjourney?
Midjourney is an independent research lab and the AI image generator of the same name. It is known for aesthetic, detailed images and is used by designers, artists and marketers. It works on its own website and in Discord.
Midjourney turns prompts into images with a distinctive, polished look. Many people use it for concept art, mood boards, illustrations and social visuals.
Parameters let you set aspect ratios, stylization and variety, and reference features help keep a consistent style or character.
The web app offers a gallery, editor and organization tools; Discord remains available for those who prefer it. Midjourney has also introduced video generation from images.
For Instagram, set the aspect ratio to 4:5 for feed or 9:16 for Stories to avoid cropping.
