Meta Muse
Meta's personal AI agent that plans, browses and completes everyday tasks through its own app and WhatsApp.
What is Meta Muse?
Muse is a personal AI agent from Meta, launched in the United States in September 2026 for adults. It helps with everyday tasks such as schedules, shopping and planning, and Meta says it can open a browser, fill out forms and act on a user's behalf. People use it in a standalone Muse app or in WhatsApp.
Muse is Meta's move from a chat assistant to an agent that takes actions. Instead of only answering questions, it can work through tasks like booking travel, sending emails or turning a long-term goal into an action plan.
According to Meta's launch coverage, each user's agent runs in a dedicated, secure virtual machine that holds both the agent and the user's data.
At launch it was available only in the US and only for people aged 18 and over.
As with any agent that can act for you, review what it does, especially purchases and messages sent in your name.
