Grok
xAI's AI assistant with real-time information from X, research features and image and video generation.
What is Grok?
Grok is the AI assistant from xAI. It's available on grok.com, mobile apps and inside X. Grok answers questions, writes and analyzes, uses real-time information including posts on X, and offers research modes plus image and video generation through Grok Imagine.
Grok's distinguishing feature is access to current information, including what's happening on X, which makes it useful for following news and conversations as they unfold. It also searches the web.
Beyond chat, Grok offers deeper research modes that gather and summarize many sources, and creative tools. Grok Imagine generates images and short videos from prompts. xAI also offers Grok models to developers through its API.
Free access lets you try the assistant with usage limits, while paid tiers raise limits and unlock xAI's most capable models and features.
